1988 Dodge 600HP Shortbox Part 2

Hey This is my dads 1998 dodge truck, the frame is from a 1977 dodge the cab is from a 88 so is front clip the box is from an 83, the engine is a 318, bored .30 over carter competion series, Comp Cams RV Cam, Hooker headers, edlebrock heads and intake manifold, flowmaster 40 series 3" exhaust, very fast watch part one here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1iggW21P3s

This is a 30 over 318 SHORT STROKE They made 360 factory, indy heads, trw pistons lunati cam, on the dyno she pull 640, we estimated in previous vids, but she proved we were close on the dyno. It has a 727 3 speed, with 2500 stall

Finnish horses are not as strong as American horses, therefore the measurement of "Horsepower" is drastically different. Judging from the Specs of this 318 engine, Finnish horses are about 1/3 the strength of American horses.

Very cool idea to built up an old Dodge P/U, I had a 4 wheel drive Power Ram, and it was probably the toughest little truck I've ever owned. As far as 600 horsepower, I'm sorry man but I am not buying it. You mention it as having an "RV" cam.. RV cams are not that aggressive in their profile, not enough to make 600 horsepower. Nice truck though.
