There are no black over red engines in the SFFD apparatus as far as I know

The all dark red engines were painted in recognition of the aniversary of the Great Quake of 1906, 100 years later....of course back in 2006, when those engines were ordered new, as far as I know....

In the SFFD are some dark trucks.But i dont know why the others are white red and the others dark and red.
