Fusion is a good brand, it just depends what sub u get. i got a $250 fusion sub and it knocks pretty damn hard

FUSION is actually a pretty decent brand. More towards the low end, but still pretty decent. This sub has to be the worst, but the rest of the line of products are pretty decent.

@4dhynz102 probably best mainstream, agreed. But some smaller companies like Hertz or Audio System perform a lot better.
But as always with these matters there will be some crazy guy in a shed somewhere outperforming everyone :)
