@bluecanvas2 It was originally written for Rudolf, but used in the Origina staging of the Scarlet Pimpernel - where it always was out of place, however wonderful the song - and when Rudolf came through they decided to take it in again.

I've seen the musical in Vienna. This is acutally the best song in it, IMO. Which is a pity since this hasn't even been originally written for Rudolf.
