@JejunumJake You are an idiot. My friend John would pronounce 'Barack' as 'B-A-R-A-K', rather than 'B-E-R-E-K', but that is because he is from the north of England. Marcus is from the south. When Marcus says butter, John thinks of stuff you make Yorkshire Puddings out of, and not the stuff you spread on toast. When John says butter, Marcus thinks he is a hick.

@JejunumJake As Americans, we probably shouldn't start casting poor-pronunciation stones. I'll give you an example: if you've ever said Angela Merkel's name, I can pretty much guarantee you've unknowingly butchered it. (Check the pronunciation link on her wiki page.) It's easy to do when your media settles on a handy, but not altogether accurate pronuncation. We're lucky OUR media has his name down right.
