Subaru Rally Team USA driver Dave Mirra finishes his #40 Subaru Impreza WRX STI rallycross car in round 2 of the 2011 Global Rallycross Championship. Catch-up on the action with exciting in-car and fixed camera footage!

The Global Rallycross Championship consists of 3 rounds, each scheduled at different venues across the country, leading up to X Games 17 which will be held within the L.A. Live complex and Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA, scheduled for July 30-31, 2011.

@Tennis4Life003569 It is a sequential gear box (at least in their rallycars, rally cross cars may be different) but there is still a clutch usually to help when they are launching the car from a stop on a slippery surface.

Now Subaru seem to have got themselves a decent rallycross car they need to invite Sverre Isachsen back again to drive it. I like Mirra, but with the competition in the GRC I think you need a more experienced driver behind the wheel.

Be interesting to see how Higgins compares to Mirra when he drives in the third round of the GRC.
