When i first read the word Babe i thought she was Marjorie Babe Kane, but it seems this person is someone else. She's using a mixture of Hanshaw & Kane's singing style. becuse if im correct Hanshaw had not long impersonated Helen Kane in (1929) as Dot Dare/Patsy Young & also recorded her hit song mean to me.

That kinda singing was great at the time, but it ddidnt travel in time well, sounds
just silly now. Jack benny on the other hand, was funny always.

@bluedoris88 Thanks for your comment! You made a good point. Yes, baby-talk singing was old news in about a year or two, but Jack Bennys comedy was always good. Did you see his tv shows?
