Don't quote me on this, but I remember years and years ago when I was a kid reading that this game was actually supposed to be either a sequel or prequel to "The Peacekeepers" on SNES.

Well, this game was first released in Japan as "Rushing Beat Ran - Fukusei Toshi (ラッシング・ビート 乱 複製都市)" in December, 22, 1992, accordingly to an article published in Wikipedia.

Also, some versions of ZSNES emulator alow you to play online with a friend, using TCP or UDP methods. Network play is missed on current version of ZSNES (1.51)

hahahah me and my bro would start this game together (co-op) but that bastard would be the only one to make it till the end, getting all the praise and glory from my mom who would get nervous lol.

There are so many jokes I can make about this game. This is supposed to be the third sequel to Rival Turf but apparently it didn't market so well so they had to change the name twice. This boss makes me laugh a lot too. What the f*ck kind of name is "Dieter?" I'm sure he got picked on a lot as a kid. Did he just beat that ninja to death with sausage links *err* sausage-chucks? Apparently that sausage gives him horrible gas so he cleverly utilizes his wind as a weapon against his opponent.

LMAO... inside joke :)
This game is more fun with 2 players online.
