@richardcwood1 .. I also remember when the interstates were first being built. Ike's first reasoning, after his impression of the autobahn, was a faster means for troop convoys to travel.

@wannabeangel83 Cars are just as colorful and powerful now as they were in the 50s. This isn't 1993 you know. We have nice cars again... open your eyes, or a car magazine.

So were the only good decades the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s and our current 2010s? I'm just thinking that life is good now in 2011, and has been since the 50s, but life before had WW2, the Depression and generally life didn't have the modern conveniences we have today available since the 50s. So would I be right to say the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s were the 6 only good decades of cars and good living we've had?

i hope so too... though it doesnt seem likely that it would happen again, beacause the god damn japs, came in wth their shitty cars, and spoiled the party
