  • well done ron you and pete worked it very nicely, hope your well,

  • So great to hear Ron Griffiths singing. What a blues voice! Pete is superb as always. Nothing better than Iveys live.

  • I love hearing these rare Iveys recordings. What a great little band! Thanks, BadfingerIveys, for posting this. Ron, I hope you are doing well. I've been thinking about you.

  • mrron! Glad to see you up and about - hope all is well with you!

  • I had forgotten that these recordings still / ever existed. yes Grace Barrett, Bill would have recorded this with one mic on the Revox machine so many early demos were recorded on - including the two songs which would eventually become 'without you'. The machine is sitting in my flat to my left as I type !! Thanks 'slightly perturbed Max'. Ron Griffiths.

  • Ron Griffiths was a really cool guy, a shame he didn't make another awesome band (that I know of)

  • It's great hearing the other side of the Iveys! It sounds to me like this song was

borrowed upon heavily to create the 80's song "Stray Cat Strut".

  • This is phenomenal stuff. This Iveys show is a eye-opener for me. I hope the show gets released on CD one day. Sounds really good for an audience recording. Did Bill Collins record this? Use the Revox they were famous for?

  • Tommy was nailing all those jazz chords. That's got to be the most difficult progression The Iveys or Badfinger ever tackled.

  • Class act and sadly missed, wish I could have seen them play live

    R.I.P Pete,Tommy & Mike
