how can any body really jugde an instrument from the crappy sound of you tube
i own a roland vk8 and its awesome
but if you compress the sound and put it on you tube its going to sound bad even a b3 would sound bad on you tube so enough with the critics nice playing nice orgen

The sound. VK is greater dynamics (percuss, keyclicks, leakage, swell, effects), expressiv sound. Not perfect, but much more better.

Interesting, but I really don't like Leslie simulators. How can you simulate 3D sound with stereo? Well, you can SIMULATE it, but the real thing is lot better because you can really feel the sound coming from different directions.

I know that Don Airey is using Roland with H&K Rotosphere when he has no possibility to play on real Hammond.

I have Hammond XK-2. If it is interesting for you, you can show my clips )))) I use build-in Leslie and of course it sounds not so cool.

Hammond XK-2 is much better then VK-8 in only one thing - it has "Hammond" written on it's case. :D ;)
