  • hey Dude the long tube headers on your L98 did u have to take off the EGR and the Air Pump or does the headers come with the line for running them..

  • i bought the headers used and they originally had the egr tubes and i was going to keep them but a few of the lines were cracked that were brazed into the header itself and they are brass lines and my fabricator couldn't rebraze them since they were pretty used so i had him fill the holes in and i blockd the egr off and bought a air elimination pulley.

  • l98 low rpm power band also means max power early lol. keep it up man an l98 motor with traction can bust just about any car to 60

  • thanks man! yeah she digs hard out of the hole on a 2.59 gear and stock 1600 stall. i was on drag radial and still spun into 2nd gear.

  • yes :)

  • Nevermind, my question was wrong as far as any issues with my RPM's and transmission. Everything is fine.

  • @LoanProMD: Good race. I have a question too. I've got the 700r4 automatic & my problem with the RPM's and when I'm driving is I want to get my speed up with the RPM's. I've noticed that when I'm launching from a roll that my RPM's are going up but my speed isn't going up at the same time but does a few seconds after. That hurts me so I wanted ask you is there a way to get that power matched up with the RPM band? I'm installing a shift kit & a servo later but until then the info would be good.

  • Good race i have a WS6 and they ain't easy to beat.

  • Used to own an 86 L98 vette slight mods net 60ft times of 1.6 sec on mine ...fun cars ...shocks alot of people I bet ...lol

  • Anything can happen on the street I guess. What does she run in the 1/4?

  • hell yah!!! you showed that cocky bastard, lmao...
