The John Elliott Report started following Leigh's recent success shortly after Bloomsbury's secured the UK and French distribution rights for selected Leigh's books in 2009 including the popular "Mr Chicken Goes To Paris" which was launched in London and Paris mid last year. Leigh went to both London and Paris in October 2010 to support Mr Chicken's book launches where initial sales, especially in Paris, exceeded expectations.

Leigh, who describes himself as an artist and author, recently agreed for our film production crew to conduct a 10 minute combined interview and filming of his various studios where he traces the origins (and inspirations) of his favourite characters like Old Tom, Mr Chicken and Mr Badger. He also explains how he reflects his passion for heritage buildings and architecture in his various illustrated books.

This informative and entertaining mini-documentary on Leigh's successful evolution from a cartoonist to a highly respected artist and author.
