God, I hope not. I'm American, but I absolutely hate it when British shows are remade "American style". I wish they would just put the original British shows on American tv instead of trying to do a crap remake. It almost always fails miserably.

Julia Davis is an extraordinarily talented comedian...good female comics are such a rarity - which is a real shame - but Julia is right on the cutting edge with her material. She's not just "good for a woman"...she's good, period.
