The NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope, in collaboration with several other ground- and space-based telescopes, has captured a galaxy being ripped apart by a galaxy cluster's gravitational field and harsh environment. The finding sheds light on the mysterious process by which gas-rich spiral-shaped galaxies might evolve into gas-poor irregular- or elliptical-shaped galaxies over billions of years. Read more on:

  • Religious people just make me laugh, I REALLY feel sorry about them. No matter what, they will modify everything that has been said before so that it makes sense now (I bet they go like: damn people from the old times, didnt think of scientists when they were making up all the stories). So now it turns out that a gods day ranges from 1.000 to 1.000.000 human days Hahahahaha this is just plain stupid.

Science has facts that can be proven, while religion is base on little stories and fear.

  • Seriously guys, stop talking bullcrap and enjoy the show.

  • @950horsepower There are lots of scientists of that caliber, but they are all in private practice, and none are mainstream. Once the piteous minds finally catch up, if we are lucky, they "re-discover" such as Tesla, but in most cases they stupidly claim it as their own over decades. Like an amoeba. First they say fantasy, then they say it has merit but they know it better. Finally they claim its theirs exclusively. In star formation, they are clueless. Like ants driving a Chevy.

  • @ianman6 As you question the so-called data, you will find that there are very critical issues that are essentially skipped over. You will not get any help with these, and will be forced, as are all true researchers, to rely on your own resources to try to fill the gap. You will then be branded a heretic, because that is the only pigeon-hole there is for you. After 40 years, you will present your blasphemy only to those true scientists who consider all possibilities with an open mind.

  • @950horsepower Thanks for the kind offer, but I don't need assistance from some self-proclaimed guru who thinks he's somehow more enlightened than the 'sheeple' he looks down upon. I'll stick to my genuine skepticism and critical thinking, and leave the pseudo-science and dogmatic rejectionism/denialism to your precious California-cooked brain. See you in 2013. Peace!

  • @ianman6 Thinking is not one of your strong points, obviously. I'm from Berkeley, being called a lunatic pleases me. It's a conditioned response. We have always been very kind to retarded people. Apparently, I should be very kind to you. You want me to sort out the star formation question for you? I have all the time in the world. I can spend as much time as you need to get it right. Just tell me when you are ready to begin.

  • @950horsepower Yes, YouTube (run by the CFR and the Bilderberg Group, of course) literally pay me to troll. Congrats, you are now officially exposed as a lunatic. News flash: nobody has to pay me to think properly. I love how the only arguments from the lunatics like you is that everyone who challenges you is a paid shill or disinfo agent or something. I am not a 'foreigner', I am living in my own country. And I have a real job. You have now proven to everyone reading that you are the psycho.

  • @ianman6 lol. Typical foreigner. Here on YT, there are lots of paid trolls like yourself, telling lies to little children. And that is the truth about you isn't it? YT pays you to lie. You are a mindless automaton. A psychopath. It doesn't matter to you what the truth is, all you care about is did you win. Facts have nothing to do with your argument. Disappear like the pupated insect that you are. Quit defending things you don't understand. Get a real job. Throw away your TV.

  • @950horsepower Right, accusations of ignorance and nonsense from a guy who's channel is full of woo-woo David Icke nonsense. Science isn't only in 'this country', where ever that is for you. Maybe you should step out of your fantasy world once in a while and realize there are other countries than yours. Typical American. I don't get my 'science' from some cabal of institutionalized purveyors in the US, and neither does the world community of scientists. The rest of your comment is just babble.

  • @ianman6 Nonsense. You're defending stupid dogma even a child can see. But it's like Jesus. If you bought it as a child, you will always be burdened with a psychotic belief and vulnerability to that kind of fabricated baloney. It's criminal, really. Science in this country is just as corrupt as religion. Especially when it is unprovable speculation. Just because they institutionalize it, doesn't make it true. You are just ignorant. lol

  • @950horsepower I believe the astrophysics literature, because that is where astrophysics is discussed. Not some wannabe YouTube commentator pretending he knows better than the science community. We can all believe what we like, except some of us (some of you, rather) make it up. OK? :)

  • @ianman6 lol, NO. In fact. Not even close.

haha, But please believe whatever you like. OK?
