your so right about the Matapeake Pier and all the people trashing it up. i stopped going on weekends and started only going to sandy point which is i think your fishing chronicles vol 3 for 2009. i'm looking forward for a 2010 edition.

Hi There
In my opinion, the Stripers rig is too short and the hook line should bee 20lbs max.
Tip: Go for braided line (10lbs) with a 30lbs shock leader with your rod legnth and plus 2 meters.
Use Spinning Reels (Shimano 8000)

now why would i want to use 10\2 and 30 lb shock leader for striper fishng.. I dont use braid for bait fishing.. 15lb test and 50lb shock gets me futher than most..
