HI ,just to let you know ventriloquist call their characters "figures"...and mostly puppeteers use the phrase puppets.Jeff dunham is currently a great ventriloquist,but not good with hand pupets such as peanut his upper hand moves when only the thumb is supposed to...for these reasons he is not a "puppeteer"completely by definition.Beleive it or not some ventriloquist get offended when you call them puppeteers! it all is kind of odd, but I thoughte you might find this interesting
