@Cahoonap Yes.........Best time I know of on the manuals so far is a 12.7.
-
Hey guys answer me this, is all the 12.2's - 12.4 times coming from the automatics?

@samsaleh22 Not the old days :) people have been saying that to me for longer than that. Autos are more consistent but all things being equal the manual will get 20-30 HP more to the ground and weigh 50 LBS less. I still believe with a tune to keep the timing from being neutered and a good powershifter behind the wheel the manual will win. Ford CPUs do the same thing to their manual cars by not letting the throttle body go full open on power shifts. That's what the tuners "fix".

@331Grabber no it wont be faster, thats why drag cars are auto's...like i said it was 10+ years ago that manuals had an advantage from the factory bcz auto's sucked back then. auto's shift faster hands down now a days, we manual guys just like our manuals and will die by that. your stuck in the old dayss man

@samsaleh22 It would probably mess up your warranty but I bet if you unscrewed the timing thing the computer does it would be faster than the auto. Autos should only be faster when you miss a shift :) I just see bean counters trying to eliminate powershifting related breakage. But what are they protecting? It's probably not the tranny since they are pretty stout. Maybe drive line or axles?
Yeah. I remember SOFSoldier1 claiming to have traded his GT500 in on a 392. He also claims to have a wife that has a 2011 GT. I'm hoping that's true. Because he will never be able to catch up to her when she leaves him....
