The first step in stringing a classical guitar is to pull the string behind the bridge base, tie a loop and tie it back on the base itself. Learn about tightening a string behind a base bridge when stringing a classical guitar with help from a classical guitarist in this free video on classical guitar strings.

  • how often should I change my guitar strings?

  • Thanks for the videos. It really helped me learn how to tie my strings for the first time. Good job

  • thankyou

  • thanks

  • Quick question: why would you bother feeding almost the entire string through the hole (getting it dirtier in the process) if you only have to feed one inch of it through when you do it from the other direction? Is yours just poor technique or am I missing something? Thanks.

  • thanks for the video help.
