Attended school there 88-92.

@revolution23 I also went to school there, in the 70s. I'd appreciate it if you or someone else could take some photos of the area and upload them to Panaramio so they show up in GoogleEarth. Even if the buildings are finally gone, I'd like to see pics of the place. Glad to see that someone made good use of it while it was abandoned. Lots of memories!

When the Cold War ended, the Canadians weren't need in Europe any longer, that's why they left. It's a shame that it took so long for something to happen on the Kaserne. I was there in the summer of 2010 and was glad to see they are building condo's where the old buildings were. I too went to school there..... Lahr was awesome and still is!

Wicked video. My sister went to school here 89-93.... I went to Westend...brings back some good memories from 20 years ago. Sad to see the opening when the desks are still there but all decreped... very sad

they just let it rot for years and i guess now somebody bought the entire place and the tore everything down and are now building all new houses and a shopping center.
