As for the question: How can he see? People can sleep with their eyes open. There are people who sleepwalk & walk great distances in their sleep. One would question whether he was really asleep, but according to local news & other sources, Hadwin was tested at a sleep clinic & is in fact asleep when he paints. (The work I saw is good. One work- a sun- seemed strongly influenced by Van Gogh.)

@mbstylo WTF...

@san5a89 when sleepwalking your eyes are open (like you are awake), you are just in a different state of mind

how can he see the draw while sleeping??
-
@kildog you mean noone tested his "disturb"? many people say he's been studied....

My theory is... You are all idiots. The simplest explanation is that he does these simplistic artworks while awake, then lies about the fact he was asleep when he did them. Call me crazy. Occams razor and all that.

@sooperheromax Let's not discard perfectly simple and natural explanations in favor of fanastic ones that don't even make sense, such as psychic powers or extra terrestrials taking over his body at night in order to create pencil sketches. This is just a rather unusual form of sleepwalking.
I don't have an explanation, but I do know that our brains work in much different ways when we sleep.

anyone here have talked of the influence of "cosmos" in the art he creates. I totally agree with that. Someone communicates through it .. some entity that creates art using Lee as a vehicle. For those who know the course of Picasso from childhood will see styles that are very similar to those of Lee.
I wish I could make money while sleeping
