Oh come on, she's not with Zuko on a romantic notion - just as an ally; someone to back him up.
Plus the creators -in the commentary - said they did that in order for the 'zutarians' to have a satisfactory ending (or something like that.)
Also, I think the term you meant is 'pimp'. 'Slut' usually refers to someone who wears little clothing in a provocative manner.
