  • I think that it is annoying that muslims judge their own muslim brothers and sisters. It is her own choice to not wear hijab. Maybe she think's that the Quran doesn't tell people to wear hijab, or then she has some other reason. In any case, I think that muslims should be less judgemental towards other muslims, and instead concentrate on being good muslims themselves.

  • I'd love to see a female Pope at the Vatikan ... he he maybe nuns are more oppressed?

  • @Lionheart7100

Countries successfully run by a woman include England,Algeria (Berber), Israel, Haiti, Germany Rwanda ect women are just as good or just as bad as men, character makes a leader not sex

  • @AdamF559

    good luck with that...lol

  • Its not a media stereotype. I am muslim and my family is muslim and has been for generations, and being an African Muslim I find it impossible to find a muslim woman in leadership role who I can honestly say has the same power status as a man. Men (especially in the Muslim community which is very as we admit traditional and not very susceptible to change.regardless of how good or bad) are not very willing to allow women to have social power.

  • People ruled by a woman will never be successful (a jihadist who fought in the battle of the camel remembered this saying of Muhammad)...(Sahih Bukhari, 5.59.709)

If a nation is ruled by a woman then that nation will not succeed...(Sahih Bukhari, 9.88.219)

  • @VQian1997 That is not true. My friend comes from a Muslim family but he is not muslim, so very not true. Islam or cannot be forced and it says that in the quran. Because if it is forced that God does not see the person as a Muslim because they really do not believe. Therefore this statement really is not true. Religion is a belief, you have to truly believe in its teachings inorder to be considered a person of that faith.

  • So if u don't wanna be a Muslim member, even though ur family is, u still have to? And if u don't u will get punished?

  • @norashaa ummm... no the quran clearly says muslim women need to cover. on the other hand yes its there choice because allah's gonna judge them for it....

  • see how it works?
