2006 Ram 1500 - Highway Cruise (mods + jet chip stage 2)

highway cruise - various throttle positions...

in beginning of video, i didn't floor it completely until i hit about 4500 rpm...then i eventually had to let up a bit (when i hit seventy and also as soon as it shifted into next gear). i then held 4000 for a while, then i have it maybe 85% throttle and accelerated to about 87, then had to let go of gas completly. and for video purposes, as soon as speedometer hit 75, i gave it almost full throttle just to show the pull at that rpm (if i pushed any harder, it might have downshifted, which i didn't wanna do...i did that next though.)

the one TRUE full throttle is when i floor it is just as speedometer gets around 67...and even that i only did for a few seconds before i got myself killed in icy chicago...haha

jba headers, 456 Gears, cold air intake, power wire, iridium plugs, posi, flowmaster 50 (truck/suv perf.) with dual out, and just installed my jetchip stage 2 - which is main purpose of vid.

and ya by the way i have 5.7 hemi with full exhaust headers throttle body spacer cold air intake 180 thermo and jet chip stage 2 and its a little more peppy but not much for the money!!

@colby31 yea, not much can be done w/ little bolt ons on these newer vehicles. jet chip = joke. throttle body spacer = wtf are you doing? we're fuel inhected. exhaust = unnecesarry. we all put them on our rigs and get very little return. it blows.

throw a 6.1 cam on your shit and boost it =)

jet chips it really a rip off because it doesn't flash the computer like superchips, and after a while the computer overides jet chip and returns to stock..
