Bit about me, I have only been trying to medicate my ADD since August 2010.
Strattera helped me sleep and helped me focus, but in helping put me in a deeper sleep (or not) it caused my sleep apnea to occur almost nightly vs every 4 to 6 months.
Just started the Vyvanse XR on 9/21/10. Its only 30mg and helps alot with my focus for about the first half of the day but then after lunch i could stare at grass and watch it grow. I had this effect with Strattera when I first started it too, so maybe i just need a higher dosage to last at least through work. Also I have monitored my blood pressure and heart rate in the morning and after lunch and have not noticed any increase. Usually 120/75 with a heart rate of 70.
My Health info. 26yo male, 220 pounds, 5'9".

  • how can anybody bash vyvanse? it actually makes life livable

  • Am I the only one on this med that feels like the day goes by faster?

  • THANK YOU for making this video! It helped me come to realize why i am very grumpy ever since I started to take Vyvanse because I barely eat! lol

  • hey, not sure if you're still taking vyvanse but it is a lot cheaper now...if you go to vyvanse.com and go to savings they usually offer a free 30day supply of it (you can only get this once) and if you register for a savings card they mail you a savings card and that gives you 50% off your co-pay

  • @myfriendjoey your right this shits like Xtc ...

  • do you play with your face a lot too... . . the pills tend to have made me play with my face a bit.. i have no idea why it just happened.

  • @skinnyonmymind i know what you mean. it made me the same way after the initial euphoria dissipates. just a word of advice for the comedown though, smoke weed, or take a benzo or opiate of some sort. and no, there's no way to reverse your tolerance, i've tried all the theories. just some advice from a guy who's had 2 years experience off and on with the stuff.

  • I started taking Vyvanse a month ago but stopped taking it because it made me lose my appetite when I already didn't need to be losing any more weight. I have just started taking it again because I've been having trouble focusing at school. O_o It makes me feel light headed and like I'm not getting enough air, but it does make me more talkative when I'm usually quite shy and antisocial. Sometimes it makes my heart rate increase.. but most of the time it makes it decrease.. this drug is weird.:/

  • I was put on Vyvanse 30mgs once daily 3 weeks ago. It seem to be a bit milder than adderall and less side effects including milder crash. I would recommend it to people who think adderall is too intense but think it does help get stuff done.
