  • Could you please re-upload this game in the NTSC framerate of 60 frames per second?

  • If only I knew how to do it :)

  • Thanks. Where did you find the rom file of donkey kong?

  • Try atari,online,pl ---> Katalog gier

  • What is the name of that Atari 800 emulator?

  • Atari800 WinPlus 3.1

  • You're both wrong, The first video game was "Tennis for Two" from 1958, or "SpaceWars" from the early 60's. The first arcade video game was "Computer Space" and the first video game console was "Magavox Odyssey".

  • Actually, that stage had the pie factory in arcade, gameboy and other consoles but atari 2800 and nintendo NES

  • At 2:34 Can anyone give me an Aspirin please?

  • I had the Atari 800xl as my first PC too. Ahh the memories. Thanks for posting

  • lol how high can you get

    classic

  • How high can you get? LOL We always lauged our asses off at that when we were 12. Shitty part was, once you got past like the higest level, it just kept reverting back to the rivets and pillars level and you couldnt get any new screens other than Level 1-3. Also, I dont think it went past 99,999 on the scoreboard. LOL I traded this game to my friend for Congo Bongo. What a fool I was.

  • This sure looks like an excellent conversion! Oh god, Donkey kong was available on anything back in the day.

PS: Did you run this game on a PAL machine/an emulator in PAL mode? It's one of many games that didn't get a proper PAL conversion. Atari got that right with their 7800 (built-in Asteroids and Mario Bros. got no slowdown) and some of their 2600 games, but still, this is a problem. Even Nintendo did not care in most cases, neither did Sega.

  • Is that the Atari with the plug in cartridge on the Keyboard... Used to have a separate DOS cartridge along with it too. What a piece of shit!!!

  • Finally, someone who knows how to play this game perfectly!

I used to own this game way back when I had an Atari 800XL home computer.

This really brings back memories, THANK YOU for posting this on YouTube!

    5 stars for outstanding gameplay!

  • oh yeah, now you mention in, i forgot ;) thanks
