Trouble ; {7}

I am still on posting break. Why? Because I don't reach my comment goals anymore. Am I doing something wrong? :(
Anyways, I decided to write another chapter for you.

Selena's eyes fluttered opened as the infuriating alarm clock rang. She groaned as she yanked her pillow onto her face. Her fingers trailed up to the clock as she pressed the 'snooze' button, making the irritating sound suddenly silent. Her drowsy ears looked over as she saw the time. "It's only 6:00 am? I'm going back to bed," Selena turned to her side and closed her eyes shut again.


Downstairs there was a lively Demi waiting. She rocked back and forth on the back of her heels, swinging her arms. She checked her watch and blew out a deep breath. "Selena?"


No reply.


Demi bit her lower lip and just stood there stuck for a few seconds. Knowing her little flaw, she rushed herself upstairs, going into Selena's room. The bright brunette saw her sleeping all snug in her cozy bed. She walked over and sat right on it making the bed bounce. "Selena, you got to get up. We've got things to do."


Selena shifted herself a little bit, but didn't wake up. Demi placed her hands on the side of her open side of her body and shook her softly. The young girl didn't move at all. What the only thing she did was grumble a little and it made the perky girl annoyed. "You don't want cold water splashed on you, do you?"


Her eyes suddenly opened. Selena sat up quickly and narrowed her eyes. "You wouldn't."


"I've done it before," a little smirk planted on her innocent lips. "Ask my brother if you don't believe me. Now come on, get dressed because we've got some chores to do."


"I don't do chores," the stubborn brunette refused. "Can't I just like sleep in? It is Saturday."


Demi chortled to herself and let out a small breath. "Saturdays are our busiest days. Since you are a part of this house, you got to do your part too. So get your skinny butt up and get moving. Nick probably has your list of chores so go to him first and then start working. Got it?"


Selena was a little confused for a moment and scratched her big head. "Okay?"


"Alright," Demi nodded and left her alone in the room while she was still figuring out what was going on.


After a few minutes, Selena finally decided to go with the flow and got dressed. She wore a velvet cocktail dress with leggings underneath and a matching pair of heels. Nick noticed her as she came down the stairs and he chuckled to himself. "You're seriously wearing that?"


"I wear this all the time," she replied feeling offended.


"Well it's going to be hard for you if you're in that," he simply said. "Don't you have like a plain T-shirt and jeans?"


"Ew, no."


"Then I wish you good luck when you try to catch the chickens," Nick walked towards her and handed her a piece of paper with a long list.


"Chickens?" Selena raised an eyebrow and looked down on the paper.
