@Trome1000 yes they helped a lot, but unlike the US russia has it's own scientists to thank for it's space program considering that Sergei Korolev who is the father of practical astronautics is responsible for russian ICBM and making russia the first nation into space.

however Oppenheimer's work was stolen by the KGB making russia's first atomic bomb in 1949, which makes russia nothing better than the US.

and most warfare and space technologies are nazi technologies from ww2 like the submarine and ballistic missiles and the stealth bomber are all german.
