@TheOfficialKevsi Easy way: duplicate track then freeze and flatten it.
-
@HowToAbleton How do you "resample" the reverse vocals and the vocals to one sample?
-
@EmcFRAKTAL Im glad you liked my I O U comment on How To Ableton.........Even though Iv been producing music for about a year now (just over),iv only recently switched to Live 8, from Reason 5,so learning stuff like this is SOOOOO helpful.I tried a QUICK "Legato Style" effect on 3 slightly different basslines chopped and arranged in clips and it sounds OK.Im gunna spend more time and start again and try and get the complextro type sound, but it works better than I expected.THANKYOU!!!

@Booka2309 thought what was melodine> lol
Great video !!! Once you have all the slices, could you then use an appgiator, set to random or whatever to add a simler effect?? I did someting like that but with rex loops in Reasons, moved them on the grid then used an RPG8 and played with the gate and note length to get "random" drumming.

@Funkmastabuzz yes you can use the arpegiator, its a bit too random unless ur very proficient with arpegiator.but still a kool option.

are there any ableton plug ins that could achieve this effect? LIke vocoder maybe?
HighDefdubstep 5 months ago
@HighDefdubstep you can use the vocoder if you'd like, it's all in what sounds you are after.I personally did not like the vocoder
I ended up buying autotune but it can also be done with melodyne or any other autotune style VST. I believe there are even some free ones if you Google them
