haha since you say pianicas and harmonicas sound very similar, then shouldn't you accept pianicas as part of the orchestra? after all, we play it in a similar way. not like an electric keyboard vs. string instruments. you seem a little bias towards keyboards. :P and actually the piano isn't really cheating. it forms the basis of all the songs we play. pretty cool in fact. :)
1. Pianicas and harmonicas sound very similar because they produce their sounds from the same mechanisms. The only difference is the articulation and the sound chamber, so really, I don't know what you're saying.
2. If you look at a "string orchestra," you'll notice that it only has string instruments. Hence, when I see "harmonica orchestra", I expect...?
If you presume that a pianica is so called cheating, then what about the piano? Without instruments such as the piano and the pianica, the harmonica music will sound pretty mundane.
Actually, a pianica doesn't really produce sounds similar to that of a harmonica. The fact that the instrument is incorporated into our orchestra proves that it, in fact, produces unique sounds that help to complement, rather than supplement the sounds of a harmonica in different songs we play. Besides, what's an orchestra without different instruments?
I dunno. I just think when I hear something as esoteric as a "harmonica orchestra," it would make more sense to have only harmonicas. A pianica (as you call it) can produce a similar sound, but to me, it's kind of like using an electronic keyboard to provide strings sounds to supplement a standard string orchestra. Does that make sense?
their standard used to be so high!

if you didn't mean it you shouldn't have even said it's cheating in the first place. o_O
anyway, thanks for the compliments in your first comment because my seniors really worked hard for this.

As a matter of fact, I even say "except not really" in my first comment. Perhaps you should try reading them before you start biting my head off.
