@deercreek7 John was the ONLY Disciple to be standing with Christ as he died. As the other Disciples ran or denied him, he stood there with Mary. He was also called John the Beloved, which means he was in a sense taken in Jesus' Brother, and he gave John the Responsibility of watching over Mary after he died. John was thoroughly Blessed, being the ONLY Disciple to die naturally. Correct me if I am wrong.

when did John write Revelations? 68ad or 95/96ad? If you READ 17:4, she WAS (past tense) adorned with precious stones? So how could the RCC have been adorned with scarlet, purple and adorned with precious stones when it wasn't even invented yet? The RCC didn't get established until Constantine in 312/313ad.
