  • Rumack: Can you fly this plane, and land it?

Ted Striker: Surely you can't be serious.

Rumack: I am serious... and don't call me Shirley.

  • Kudos to the copilots and RIP to the Desceased pilot.

  • Kudos to the copilot that safely landed the plane. Pretty impressive that 5 doctors were on the plane too.

  • Atleast he died doing what he loved RIP

  • @GreatInca facist? more like socialist... get it right

  • I think dead pilots will become more common as heart attacks, strokes, cancer, and diabetes becomes more pandemic in the Fascist Republic of Amerika in the next decade.

  • @spareaxe that's great, but airline pilots are forced to retire at 60, so you won't find one that's 90 years old.

oh, and i doubt you'll be able to rent a car to drive from brussels, belgium (europe) to new jersey, but if you do, please post what route you will drive, i'd love to try that myself (LOL)

  • as long as we're quoting "Airplane!.." ..by the way, is there anybody onboard who knows how to fly a plane?

  • I don't see how it would be scary, co-pilots are trained to take over, they aren't just seat warmers, long distance flights have a relief pilot as well, so there were two qualified pilots at the control, plus the automation most planes are these days, absolutely at no time were they in danger on this flight.

  • I would like to know if the plane I will be flying on has a ninety year old Pilot on oxygen at the controls. I would rent a car instead!!
