point noted, and while this country may still operate under institutionalized racism, the other fact is that as long as Afro Americans continue to have relatively high numbers of negative status/stereotype, they will continue to be the face as such. Despite making it a class issue. Its a said story. Perhaps Afro Americans need to look at karmic issues that may be operating in this whole oppressive cycle.
because this issue is clearly bigger than blaming Gingrinch et al.

Also your video has kind of inspired me to do the same, I have never really kept a blog or a vlog but I think I may begin doing so.
Thanks

He plans to have a presidential pardon go to all non-violent drug offenders, black white latino asian or otherwise which will one reduce the amount of taxes dramatically that we have to pay to support these people being unjustly imprisoned these people that make up if I'm not mistaken around 50% of the people in our jails. But look at where he stands on other issues as well but that's about the only one I could relate to your video in his regard.

I would really like to hear your comments on Ron Paul he's the only candidate under the GOP ticket that I support. Go look at some of his history and what he really believes in and really try to listen to what hes saying, he doesn't degenerate into race wars, but he does acknowledge some facts, he says while the number of users of drugs *he says drugs I say marijuana* are equal across the board for blacks and whites, blacks are disproportionately sent to prison and most are non violent offenders

@giantkiller56 NO! It's about time! You sounded really good! :-)
African Americans top the relative numbers. Obviously if there are more white people in the country there is a greater likelihood for them to consume more food stamps.

@gplus46 Economics and deficit spending don't account for relative numbers. They account for what's actually being spent. So if there wasn't a single black person in this country earning food stamps, there would still be a sizable number of whites who do. That's the point. Instead of using black people as the face of poverty in this country, perhaps our elected officials should view poverty as class issue, which is more to the point.
