Man, when you turned on the tube driver when you were playing the Eric Johnson riff, I was just like "WOW, holy shit that sounds good." It honestly blew me away lol.

sounds amazing! really goddamn loud too! if you don't mind me asking,. how much did you pay for the head kit?
-
erics settinsg are bass at half, mids at 15% and treble at 5% presence off...I got thsi nformation of fhis webcite and looking at amp closeups on youtube :)

Nice tone! If you really liked this, we could negociate that JCM 2000!!!!!!!!! :D

@stratpaulguy86 This is a truly amazing amp kit for sure man! Im on the website now haha!
-
from the pics ive seen of erics rig on the lead amp, he doesnt have it set up like that. and for the cliffs of dover tone, pretty sure from what he read he had the EQ all about 12 o clock. now he has the bass around 4-5, mid 3-4, and treble 0-1. sounds closer to joe bonamassa who uses more mids in his tone.

I got goose bumps when you turned the echoplex on!

Nice vid man!!! Not sure why people say plexis are loud i dont find them so unbearable loud as some people do. Maybe its just me or something hehe :D
-
As a fan of EJ and his tone/playing since the mid 80s... I find the tones you make here quite amazing.

wats the settings on the dl4 for that echoplex tone?
Well its sound nice, but you shoud never use a marshall logo on a metro amps , this is not kind a phylosophy the george metropoulos do ...

@dusanOravec My youtube channel clearly desribes it as a "Metro Superlead" and also, I bought the logo from George's own website!!! I really don't think he cares because he clearly sells them for $20 a pop on his site. I've pointed literally dozens of people his way and away from the current Marshall reissues. I have a personal preference and I want it to LOOK as much as it sounds like a real '69 Marshall Plexi replica. Sorry you don't like it. Cheers

How many hours did it take to assemble?
boredtodelusionFan 1 year ago
@boredtodelusionFan On and off it took about a month to do. We only worked on it when we had the time. The average build time is about 20-30 hours. The recommended building sessions are less than 2 hours so figure a week or two if you work on it everyday and everything goes perfectly.

@korakanthrwpos It's lead spec, Sozo caps, Wing =C= EL34 tubes (aka Svetlana), and in this clip the dreaded G12T-75 Celestions. Since this rig to a couple of old echoplex's (bye bye Line 6), George L's for everything, and an early '80s Marshall cab w/ Celestion G12-65s. MUCH closer EJ's old tone and I'll be posting clips soon.
