  • SAME COIL BALANCE THAN THE NAUTILUS DMC2B

  • @MORDORAS

Thanks...I will read about the Nautilus.

  • Thats very interesting about how it has the longer sound for iron and crisp for ferrous. I will have a read up about this detector.

  • @OutsideTheEdge

Wonderful detector but keep it away from true black sands !!

Luckily my beaches are generally coral sands with no rivers to bring the black sands in.

  • @TonysWaterHunts Thanks for the reply. I had a read up about the detector and did notice it's dislike of black sand. But the discrimination on it seems great the way you show it. I use a whites VLF "surf 2" detector for fresh water only. Just shallow depths of 1 - 2 meters usualy. Basicaly rivers and the shallow areas of lakes in Europe. Although I do have a PADI qualification for ocean open water, I just seem to prefer the fresh water these days. Happy hunting :)

  • @OutsideTheEdge

I imagine that you have an almost limitless area to hunt with all of the lakes and rivers.

Down here, it's really the ocean and beaches to hunt. There are lakes inland but they are heavily mineralised so a specialised detector is needed.

The Aquasound will not work in the lakes as it cannot GB at all.

Enjoy your summer......I can't wait for ours to return !

I use a full wet suit even during summer as I often hunt from 2am until 10am.

.....but not too deep when it's dark !

I guess the water is rough a lot of the time too ?

    Ace 250...good little machine.

  • @MichaelSwan66

no i do have a md3080 i got to do a little water detecting it's not very good though water around here on the central coast is very cold i've got a wet suit but still haven't tried water detecting yet. mostly parks and beaches with my ace 250. look for to your next video :) HH!
