Hiya Doug, I haven't found the video I was referencing... HOWEVER I've found other posts at different places referencing the story... chances are the actual video was removed for whatever reason... Hey Doug... gotta question mebbe you or someone here can help me with... a year or so I found a video either Travis or Chet telling the story about Chets RCA interview.
The story goes[mini-version] Great Chet... you play as well if not better than Travis, but we're looking for someone who can sing too... Chet replies, I can't sing... now thinking he's blown the interview... RCA guy sez... dang shame... we're hoping to find some who can compete with Travis for air time... [cont'd]
