16-year-old Darren was like most kids in his suburban neighborhood. He hung out with his best friend Steve, got decent grades and usually stayed out of trouble. But when he and his buddy stumble upon a traveling freak show, things begin to change inside Darren. Thats the exact moment when a vampire named Larten Crepsley turns him into something, well, bloodthirsty. Newly undead, he joins the Cirque Du Freak, a touring sideshow filled with monstrous creatures from a snakeboy and a wolfman to a bearded lady and a gigantic barker. As Darren flexes his newfound powers in this dark world, he becomes a treasured pawn between the vampires and their deadlier counterparts. And while trying to survive, one boy will struggle to keep their brewing war from devouring whats left of his humanity.

  • @zaikapasaica Actually in the fight in the book, it did last a few seconds in which crepsley did appear out of debbie's closet, he then threw a small knife into murlough's shoulder, murlough tried to counter by slashing at crepsley's face but missed, and crepsley finished it by ripping a giant hole in murlough's stomach with his vampire nails

  • @theparodymonster1 i thought a vampires fight would be flitting all over the place with dark shadows and you as a human being can imagine how they felt to be fighting as vampires.

  • First of all, Murlaugh doesn't come until the 3rd book. 2nd of all, isn't Murlaugh supposed to be all fat and purple and mad? 3. They fight in Debbie's house...

  • that fight only lasted for a few seconds as described in the book, larten appeard out of debbies closet, and like exploded mulogh, well, not exploded but i cat describe it in any other way, its been i while since i read the third book

  • These are some of the best books ive ever read and they've fucking ruined it.

  • What the f*ck! There is many points to make, some already poitned out (for instance Debbie isn't in this, and the fight should take part at her house. Secondly why isn'ty murlough's skin purple and his nails, hair and eyes red? Completely ruined the film. Also this is not the right actor to play Mr. Crepsley. I'm not saying he is bad but come on, this guy is nothing like Larten!
