Hip Hop isn't dead. I hate that expression. Hip Hop is as alive as it's ever been, especially with expanding ways to discover and follow artists due to technology. If you can't find any good rap, it's not Drake's fault, it's yours.

@BrownEagle7 dammmmmmm..... kinda racist

This music was too powerful and increased your Melanin which makes us stronger, wiser and more spiritual -- too dangerous for the Nephilim seed. Your DNA starts to sync and your ills leave your body and soul -- so much power you feel like you can fly, spiritually you are, then you think, I AM A SOVEREIGN CREATED BY THE SOVEREIGN ONE!

I know what happened to it
a dumbed down and self-absorbed consumer base.
BET/MTV peddles the bullshit, but the senseless teenyboppers (and those older people who want to "act" young) readily buy it up.

@zapproowsdower my thoughts exactly. Hip-Hop still lives. Since radio stations and music channels suck nowadays, ppl need to step into the 21st century and turn to the internet to find that good music again. Since I've been on youtube I've found some great current hip-hop music and artists that should be more explored. I know it's messed up to have to dig deep to find good music, but the radio stations and tv channels are not going to change.

@idislikeu69 and a brilliant song that is too

hip hop didn't die, MTV did. There's lots of good stuff out there if you look for it. It just isn't as easy as it used to be because pop culture isn't focused on it.
