First I didn't realize it but becoming aware of was quite kinda shock: for more than a year now I just listen exclusively female musicians. It's way not only their femaly voices, no! i think they make much better music nowadays.
Ok, it's a kinda generalization but the last dozen records I purchased were from Lykke Li, Robyn, PJ Harvey, Fever Ray, Jenny Wilson, Beach House, Ladytron, M.I.A., Santigold, Elastica - all Kuntz!
And from François & The Atlas Mountains, but he's french and openly gay.

Dum Dum Girls version takes this song on whole other level, it's much more emotional version than sonny's and cher's, they kinda sing it happy, but this version it's just sad.
