I noticed that you used a picture of an actual rooster.
I hope you know that this song has nothing to do with a rooster.
A "rooster" is a nickname for a Heavy Gunner in the military.
Just saying.

@ccpd74000 Except for the part where (like I said earlier) a "Rooster" was a name that soldiers gave the Heavy Gunners back in 'Nam. It was rooster because they were the cockiest out of all of the soldiers. And another name for a rooster is a cock.

@YourTrueFatality This song was written by Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell for his father Jerry Cantrell Sr., who went by the nickname "Rooster" while serving with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War

@YourTrueFatality He was probably using it as a joke

@3LiterProductions His father was a helicopter door gunner, life expectency for this job was about seven seconds, he survived more than a few battles. He came back home and was shot while in a phone booth for the 33 dollars he had on him.

This song was, is and always will be timeless, 0.26 - 0.51 remind me of standing under a roof as the rain starts to fall, 1.26-1.29 reminds me of a dark rain cloud approaching. Its hard to believe that AIC Have always been an under-rated band and thats the way it should be.
