@jukio02 believe me you won't be able to dodge an arrow at 40 mtrs or less with a 50 pound bow, a 150 pound bow will shoot way faster. I think u watched larp vids where people dodge em, those bows are only 35 lbs and have heavy tips.

@0xxRawr0xx0 its easy to get arround arrows, just dodge em. people back then didnt know any tactics or anything, they just stand there and get show with an arrow. im talking about guierrial warefare and ninja tactics.

@hobbenaro you should look into sca.org.....full contact medieval sword fight and yes we use real balista with a rigid black pvc tubing and a tennis ball on the end and we fire them at real live people >:) the sword we use are rattan wood basicallly solid bamboo there are plaenty of you tube vids of SCA combat. SCA is a 40+ year old society ....check it out
