"The Light Garden"
-a modern-day zen garden with a new component: light.
SWAP Items Used:
Test Tubes
Transparency Projector
We built a box out of leftover wood, and used a sheet of plexiglass to create a transparent surface for the light to shine through. We covered the rest of the glass with sand.
One of the best 100-hr projects I've seen so far. Can you tell me more about the color in the tubes? What is the substance in the tubes, how did you capture the bubbles like that, what did you use to do the color tints? They are great! Thanks.

@Dithermaster Thanks! The color in the tubes is just different mixtures of food coloring in water. The bubbles naturally appeared after sitting for a while. The hot glue also was translucent enough to allow some interesting light play as well. The color continually changes as you move because, when viewed from the outside, you get the colors from all the test tubes to create this really fluid mixture of color.
