Bill Mills performs "Wonderful World" (Filk Song) In Concert at Worldcon 69 - Aug 20, 2011 in Reno, Nevada. Filk lyrics by Bill Mills to the tune of "Wonderful World" by Phil Everly (The Every Brothers). This was the third song performed during the concert at the 69th World Science Fiction Convention. The subject of the lyrics is FANZINES... Science Fiction Fandom's longstanding publishing tradition, also reffered to as 'zines. The song is obviously intended for "fanzine fans" and others may not find this song particularly amusing or entertaining. Sorry 'bout that. ;-)

Our apologies for the poor quality of this video. The blame falls to me. I was so over worked and stressed that I did not check the camera myself before starting the show (with this song) and my darlin' wifey Roxanne does not know the camera well enough to do anything other than push the 'Record' button and guard t...he tripod to keep anyone from knocking the camera over. I could have, and should have, zoomed to a better position, set the exposure and light source info etcetera. If you've seen my video of Jeff & Maya performing at Worldcon, you know the camera could have made a good recording. Unfortunately, even with tweaking it in my editing suite, I fear this is about the best any of the footage is going to be. At least the audi is passable because I sync'd the audio that was recorded on a separate machine to the video. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy seeing my little moment in the Fannish Sun.
