A cinematographic diary by Wim Wenders, 1989.

"When people ask me why I love people, these days I think I love the weak and pitiful sides of people, probably because that's what it means to be human, but as I keep living, keep doing my job, because I want to communicate something to people, because I want to say something to people, somebody, or a certain group of people, these days I don't know if I actually love or hate these people anymore, and I think the reason is because I know that I can't take responsiblity for them, like expressing something means that I want people to understand me, but sometimes I don't actually care whether they understand me or not."
