that 2 dollar slut wilma did the most to us, in florida. school was out for 3 weeks, LONG LINES at gas station and stores, PRICE GOUGING, traffic lights in the street, trees everywhere, argh if me and wilma meet again there WILL be problems!

i wish people would relize that Katrina devastated more than New Orleans. It actually was east of New Orleans. People should look at the Mississippi Coast sometimes. There is something between New Orleans and Flordia.

I live in Staints Bernard parish but i was in New Orleans for Katrina in a hotel up in the city. In my life i never think i wood every see a Hurricane like this befor. People tell me that me and my family was nuts for staying

Storms can be a dangerous and deestating, yet beautiful thing. Look at tornados. If they are not on top of you, they are just as quiet as they can be. It's amazing how a natural phenomenon can be so powerful.

@twcrockstar51: It might not matter for you, but the name Katrina was retired after the '05 season. However, the curious replacement name "Katia" would be used in the '11 season if it got that far in the alphabet.
