My next laptop is going to have to come with ubuntu pre-installed.

It was because of this show that I purchased a laptop from System76. I opted for the Pangolin Performance instead of the Serval Professional, because of my needs. What I received was excellent service and a quality piece of hardware that worked flawlessly right out of the box. Thanks for the review, without which I would never would have known about System76.

@miasmablk They have to be overpriced as it's a very small company and they can't afford to sell them as cheap as dell or any well known brand.

i love ubuntu and other linux distros but system 76 pc's are crap. overpriced considering that the OS is free.

Thanks for the vid I've been looking for a new laptop. My friend introduced me to System 76 I wanna get the Starling NetBook first (finance-wise) and then get a Pangolin later for my vid productions. Thanks for the vid you guys! It helped. X-)

Gotta point something out in case you haven't noticed it yet. The eSATA port is actually a combination eSATA/USB port, so the total number of USB ports is 4, not 3. Found that out on mine by accident. I love that this comes with 7200rpm HDD & DDR3 on both system & video RAM.
I love the machine, but had some trouble with the wireless card causing kernel panics. Have you had any trouble with yours?

Wireless has been really solid. Even using it on an 802.11n network with WPA protection with no issues so far.
