Coverage from TWC with Jim Cantore of Hurricane Erin as it approaches the NW Florida Panhandle on Aug. 4, 1995...Thanks to Tony (Hurricaneadventures) for sending me the footage.
@vinceasneed That's amazing how you kept track of all the storms in '95, because they got all the way to the "T" storm, Tanya, before the season ended. I remember in 2005 when we got well into the Greek alphabet, I was too busy following Katrina, and I completely missed Lee, Maria, and Nate, and I was watching The Weather Channel a couple weeks after Katrina and they were talking about Ophelia!
a friend i met in 5th grade said that it was one BAAAD storm. She wasn't kidding, she even said it was even worse then the supercell thunderstorm that occurred in Brevard county, FL.

@cjellwood The name "Erin" has been used in 1983, 1989, 1995, 2001, and most recently in 2007. It's on the naming list for 2013.

This brings back memories. I kept up with every hurricane that year and can recite them from memory and 1996 and 1994.
