i'll be moving back home in Hawaii and i want to meet some pigeon clubs in Oahu. i'm going to start raising pigeons as a hubby. i just bought a Van Elsackers/Janssens cock and a Hofkens hen as a starter and breeders. they both came with full pedigree. i'll be in Ewa Beach and looking forward on meeting some people friendly pigeon lovers.

yes, they roll when they fly. Some will roll 15 to 20 revolutions per second.

critterkiller105 ...The best time to fly ur birds is spring time about April till about August ...Hawks go off to mate, 11 or 12 is usually a good time to fly ur birds because hawks usually got their breakfast by then....Nice Birds Tom

We have peregrin falcons here from Sept. till about May. They come from the Aleutian Islands, and surronding areas, I'm told. The damage is minimal, however. There are just a few falcons that make it here to Hawaii. So far, I've lost only one pigeon to these migratory raptors.

Sorry, I couldn't get the birds in the view finder. It's a Cannon sureshot and not a regular video camera.
