This is a prehistoric clip for me, recorded back in 1994 with a comparatively bad camcorder. But there is an atmosphere to this, which in 1999 I felt matched one particular live Robert Fripp sound sculpture, entitled "2002". I layered both for a VHS compilation home video I was making. Recently I decided to relayer the original 8mm into Premiere and include unused cloud footage for an extended time lapse version, and blend in another Fripp track from the same release, track called "1999" (no relation to Prince, absolutely no party, but it does come close to the end of the world, thankfully.), This sound sculpture is ideal for the darker timelapse that closes the video piece. So check out the end if you can. It reminds me of much simpler times.

  • This camcorder is really good I'd say. I have an RCA Small Wonder EZ201 camcorder that is really good.

  • AH I love rain It make ma very happy , thanks for this clip and I like the music .

  • It's not a bad camcorder. Every camera has its own quality. Be it film, miniDV or VHS, every medium has its own 'feeling'. I find the VHS format to have a very analog/digital feel to it. A classic 90's feel. The film is great, very tranquil.
