Tom Renney led the New York Rangers, a club in the National Hockey League, after the lockout. In 2009 he was fired and replaced by John Torterella. Renney had brought the team far and hopefully Torterella can bring it further in the future.
On February 29th 2009 three games in he achieved his first win against the Colorado Avalanche. The Rangers played with an energy that had been lacking for some time.
The photos are my own. The song would have been "Rain Wizard" by Black Stone Cherry but WMG is a snobbish enterprise that wouldn't understand free advertising if it kicked them in the rear...
